The new Guardian sustainability report is now online here.
Guardian Media Group (which is the Guardian newspaper, Guardian Unlimited and the Observer), is shifting towards making their reporting ‘live’ on the web.
They want to turn reporting into a continual online conversation with stakeholders.
Of course, it’s easier for a publishing group, with millions of online readers, to do this than it is for other companies, who have a lot less traffic to corporate websites.
Nevertheless, other large progressive firms will likely emulate this approach.
Surely, this is the future of two-way conversation on sustainability, which is where stakeholder engagement should end up.
We wrote a review of their reporting, combined with a mini-essay on the state of media ethics, here.
