Presentation on corporate responsibility reporting, some stats and views

These slides might be in some way useful for readers. They are on CR/Sustainability reporting.

Here’s my presentation to my corporate responsibility class at Birkbeck, University of London, from last night.

Not perfect I know, but I had to limit the time I spoke for, and get some academic views in there for the students.

Thankfully, what really made it a great session with the students (professional post grads mostly) were my guest speakers, Philippa Birtwell from Barclays and Richard Hamilton from KPMG. Both consummate professionals.

Here’s the slides. As always, interested in what I might have missed, or got wrong! 🙂

  1. Interesting presentation, Toby. Regarding the drivers for CR reporting, I feel that investors and clients/consumers are more important in terms of impact and driver for innovation than the ones listed.

  2. Thanks Vikingbridge!

I wish I could agree. I am not sure consumers even know what a report is…

Investors are picking up the pace as you say, the UN PRI moves give me hope for more.

I think you've hit the nail on head with clients. Just yesterday a big service company I know was asked by a huge client what their CR policies were, and could they let them know specifically on certain issues.
