Plant-based, organic options, clean eating: The consumer trends driving food innovation

Here’s a webinar we’re hosting later this week you might be interested in. It’s more of a discussion conference call with live Q&A really. Details are below.

Leading food companies will predict which key food trends and shifts are likely to stick over the next ten years and explain what changes they will bring about within their business.

There is a lot of momentum behind alternative protein sources such as cellular meat or plant-based alternatives. Innovation within food is moving at an unprecedented rate to meet consumer demands for sustainable, safe and nutritious products.

Clean and healthy eating is another consumer trend that big business will want to stay on top of. We will evaluate just how drastically business models will need to change to adapt to these demands.

In this webinar, we will be asking a panel of leading professionals, questions such as:
– What are the key trends that will stick over the next 10 years?
– How can companies keep up with changing demands driven by consumer concerns around health, sustainability and clean eating?

Speakers include:
Nick Halla, senior vice president, international, Impossible Foods
Victoria Spadaro Grant, chief technology officer, Barilla Group
Gil Horsky, global director innovation, SnackFutures, Mondelēz International

Moderated by Ian Welsh, publishing director, Innovation Forum
