Introducing Stakeholder Intelligence

Sometimes we all need do something new. So I’ve set up another business with my good friend (and now business partner) Andrew Bold.

Andrew and I worked together for many years at Ethical Corporation, where I still remain as ‘chairman’, advising the team there on strategy two days a week and retaining my shares.

As some readers of the blog will know, I set up Ethical Corporation back in 2001.

After ten years or more, it was time to set up a new company to work alongside it.

So Andrew and I have created Stakeholder Intelligence Ltd, to fill what we see as a gap in the market for stakeholder engagement products, training, briefings and independent research.

Our new business does not compete with Ethical Corporation. That business will continue to do what it has done well for many years: publish articles, analysis, commentary and news, and host conferences and sell research reports to customers.

Stakeholder Intelligence, created last year, does four different things, mainly for individual company and industry association clients:

1) Stakeholder engagement products: Expert roundtables, online debates.

2) Training module products/services: Board briefings, CR team briefings, business unit training on specific or global CR issues and trends.

3) Advisory work: Helping clients such as Alliance Boots with sustainability strategy.

4) Benchmarking and contract research: Working with large companies to provide an independent viewpoint on where they, and competitors are right now.

We’re already working with some of the leading brands on the above.
