Google’s blog a useful model for basic CR communications

I like Google’s blog. For several reasons. It’s regular, it’s clear, and it’s honest. Here’s the kind of post that impresses when it comes to corporate communications. Why? Because the company is admitting a mistake, talking about how it happened and detailing how it plans to stop it happening again. For minor infractions it’s a good model for other companies to follow. Cheap and easy to do. So why don’t more companies do this? I know a few have CR-related blogs, but they are not as honest as Google’s, from what I have seen.
